Raynor or Ramer, Sanford C.   Enlisted at Indianfields on August 14th, 1861 for 3 years, age 19 at Tuscola. Mustered on August 22nd, 1861. Missing in action at Fredericksburg, Virginia, December 11th, 1862.
Richards, Alexander Tuscola County Enlisted as a Corporal on August 8th, 1861 at Monroe for 3 years, age 22. Mustered on August 29th, 1861. Discharged for disability at Baltimore, Maryland on March 18th, 1863. After being at home for a period he re-enlisted in Company B, 2nd Michigan Infantry until the close of the war. Was a 1st Lieutenant at muster out. Belonged to Whiteside Post 143, G.A.R. Caro, Tuscola County. Died in 1915, buried at Almer Cemetery, Tuscola County.
Richards, Benjamin F. Tuscola County Enlisted on August 18th, 1861 at Monroe for 3 years, age 24. Mustered on August 29th, 1861. Promoted to Corporal on April 23rd, 1862. Reported missing in action at the Battle of Glendale Virginia on June 30th, 1862. Was wounded in 3 places and lay on the Battlefield for 2 nights before being discovered by the Confederates who took him to a field hospital. After healing a bit was in Libby Prison in Richmond for 19 days, and then Paroled and sent to Davey's Island in Long Island Sound NY, being there 2 months and then spent 2 months at Fort Hamilton and then sent to Fort Banks at Alexandria, Virginia. Was discharged for disability due to gunshot wounds at Washington, DC on January 30th, 1865. Some comments taken from the History of Tuscola and Bay Counties, H.R. Page & Company, Chicago Ill, 1883. Richardson, John L. Tuscola County Enlisted as 1st Sergeant on June 19th, 1861 at Fort Wayne for 3 years, age 27. Mustered on August 22nd, 1861. Commissioned 1st Lieutenant on April 5th, 1862. Resigned on February 9th, 1863. Died on June 15th, 1894. Buried in Tuscola Cemetery, Tuscola.

Royce, William H. Arbela, Tuscola County Enlisted on August 28th, 1861 at Monroe for 3 years, age 48. Mustered on August 29th, 1861. Died of disease at Point Lookout Maryland on August 12th, 1862.
Russell Lucius K. Watrousville, Tuscola County Enlisted on August 12th, 1861 at Tuscola for 3 years, age 19. Mustered on August 22nd, 1861. Re-enlisted at Stevensburg, Virginia on December 18th, 1863. Mustered on December 19th, 1863. Killed in action at Spottsylvania, Virginia on May 13th, 1864. Buried in Caro Cemetery, Tuscola County.
Rutherford, Robert Juniata, Tuscola County Enlisted on August 7th, 1861 at Tuscola for 3 years, age 21. mustered on August 22nd, 1861. Died of disease at Alexandria, Virginia on December 24th, 1862. Buried at Alexandria National Cemetery, Burial number 2691.
Schmidt, Albert Ellington, Tuscola County Enlisted on August 18th, 1861 at Monroe for 3 years, age 23. Mustered on August 29th, 1861. Died of disease at Bolivar Heights Maryland on March 20th, 1862.
Slafter, Albert Tuscola County Enlisted as a Sergeant on June 19th, 1861 at Monroe for 3 years, age 28. Mustered on August 29th, 1861. Promoted to Quartermaster 1st Sergeant on April 15th, 1862. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant of Company E, on February 10th, 1863. Killed in action at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 2nd, 1863. Buried on the field at the Peter Frey Farm, remains re-interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery, Michigan Plot G-13.

Sherman Post 410, Vassar, Tuscola County Died on June 6th, 1907 and buried in Riverside Cemetery Vassar, Lot 35, Section E, Tuscola County.

Died at home while on furlough on December 13th, 1864.

Tripp, John. Tuscola County Enlisted at Tuscola on March 12th, 1862, Mustered on March 26th, 1862. Died of disease at Annapolis, Maryland on July 1st, 1863. Buried at Pomme De Terre, Minnesota, and US General Hospital Cemetery at Annapolis, Maryland, Burial number 1541.
Watson, William Tuscola County Enlisted on August 13th, 1861 for 3 years, age 21. Mustered on August 22nd, 1861. Re-enlisted at Stevensburg, Virginia on December 18th, 1863, Mustered on December 19th, 1863. Discharged for disability at Detroit, Michigan on January 10th, 1865 for Wounds received in Action at Spottsylvania Court House on May 13th, 1864, left leg amputated.
