Dear Aunt and Uncle, cousins:

This morning I will write just a line or to. I was looking thro an old letter that Aunt Emily wrote forty (40) years ago. Now I am not going to write very much for fear you don't get my letter. But before I write any more I will introduce myself so you may know who I am. I am Ghouly wife, John Warren son's wife. You wrote your Bro. John 40 years ago. John and Frances Warren are both dead and so is Leroy Warren.  Frances Warren been dead about 24 years, John Warren been dead 19 years next Jan. I speak of them as John and Frances so you may know who I mean. Leroy has been dead
something like 17 years I think.  Geo. Warren lives in Bay City, Michigan. I will give you his address if I don't forget. Ghouly and I have been writing to New York to a lady that use to take care of Ghouly when a baby. She told us Ghouly was adopted. Well Ghouly father wanted to tell us before he died.  But he had a parsal stroke and could not talk so he could not tell us.  But we know what he wanted to tell us. Now, Mrs. Winn of New York said if we could get in touch with you that maby you could tell us. Ghouly is very anxious to know so if you know will you please tell us. And come and see us if you can.  I hope you get this letter all ok. 

Aunt Emily said in her letter that she wrote 40 years ago that she was 45 years old then. So she would be 85 years old now. I hope I hear from you. It sure sould be a a great treat.  Now I am going to look for a letter from you.
