| Mrs. John Hunter returned home after a visit with her son Will, who has been very ill. | |
| Cards are out announcing the marriage of J. C. Purdy to Miss Anna Kirk, both of Unionville. | |
| Mrs. Phoebe Kintner returned from her two months stay in Sturgis, where she has been receiving treatment for internal cancer. Her many friends hope for her speedy recovery. | |
| On Thursday, April 11th, at the home of the bride, Elmer Jamieson and Miss Sarah Kirk were united in marriage by Rev. S. R. McClerkin, of the R. P. church of Fairgrove, of which bride and groom are both members. Robt. Kirk, a brother of the bride, acted as groomsman, and Miss Sadie R. Kirk, as bridesmaid. The wedding march was played by Mrs. O. Jamieson. The bride was dressed in white silk. Only the immediate relatives of the bride and groom were present. They will at once commence housekeeping near her fathers home. The young couple are among the most respected in Fairgrove and all join in extending congratulations. |
