WATROUSVILLE D. Harmon is quite ill. Mrs. Hines is also very ill. Mr. Gill has moved to Akron. Rev. Walker was in Detroit the first of the week. Will Larabee of Clifford, is visiting friends here. The Reading Circle was well attended last Saturday. Will Farnum has moved into the rooms vacated by Mr. Gill. Quarterly meeting at the M. E. church. Dr. Dawe will officiate. Will Gardner, of Fairgrove, was calling on friends here Saturday. Our Dramatic Club will give "Lost and saved" at Akron Tuesday evening. Benson Vicary has let for the northern part of the state, thinking it may improve his health. The Presbyterian L. A. S. will serve dinner and supper at the hall town meeting day. All are invited. H. M. Randall and wife were pleasantly surprised by about twenty of their friends last Friday evening.

UNIONVILLE C. F. Sees was in Caro last week. Perry Marshall was in Saginaw Friday and Saturday. K. Leggert and wife visited in Fairgrove Sunday. Mrs. E. O. Ainsworth is visiting at East Bloomfield, N. Y. Deputy Sheriff Morford made a business trip to Fairgrove Tuesday. Special Pentecostal prayer meetings were held in the M. E. church the past week every evening except Monday and Friday evenings. L. W. Kirkpatrick is getting material on the ground for a new residence to be erected this spring on the lot he purchased of G. R. Durkee. A. Werth and wife celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary March 4, by entertaining about fifty of their friends at their home. They received many beautiful presents.

GILFORD Mrs. W. E. Pomeroy is improving. Mrs. A. Crosby has returned to Saginaw. Mrs. Sternhagens mother visited her last week. Thos. Culbert is moving to his farm in Atcheson. Old Mr. Miller is visiting his daughter Mrs. A. B. Catlin. The photograph gallery has been removed to Fairgrove. Frank Johnson has built a small house and has moved into it. Albert Breckless entertained his brother from Saginaw last week. Died, March 6th, A. H. Catlin, aged 48 years. He was laid to rest in the Gilford cemetery under the auspices of the K. O. T. M. of which he was an endowment member. The order presented Mrs. Catlin with a handsome floral wreath and other choice pieces.

FOSTORIA A.T. Stone was in Chicago last week. The sick ones are nearly all on the gain. Republican township caucus nest Saturday. Chas. Moore is very low at this writing of heart failure. H. Z. Wilbur and wife visited in Millington last Saturday. The school realized about $8 from their entertainment last week. A.Tripp and wife, of Oakland County, have been visiting at R. W. Keiths. W. Moses has moved here from Oakwood and has commenced buying produce.
