| My Great-Great-Grandfather, James L. Hitchcock (b.1830 d.1901), and his sons George L. (b. 1864 d. 1950) my GreatGrandfather, Amos A. "Arch or Archie", and Thomas owned and operated the Hitchcock & Sons Hardware Store in Cass City, MI. They also established an Opera House in the upstairs of their building, which is said to have really been something in its day. I am looking for more information about the Opera House, when it operated, what plays were shown there, what actors worked there, who attended, etc. Let me know if you ever hear of anything about the Opera House in Cass City. |
