| This is a very early school picture with my grandmother, Verna Hazel (Fish) Hitchcock (b. 1902 d. 1981). I was fascinated that many of the children had no shoes, or at least they weren't wearing them to school that day. Do you recognize the school? Hazel Fish grew up on the Fish Family Farm, now owned by the Smith family, some 10 miles from Caro, Michigan (10 miles north I believe). |
