Photo of William Stearns Parks,
from Reese. He is buried there. He served in the 2nd Mich.
Cavalry, came home for a while and reenlisted in the 29th Mich
Infantry. He was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic Post (GAR)
in Millington. He owned a watch and jewlery store in downtown (I
believe in Reese).
