About TCGS

Tuscola County Genealogical Society has taken the responsibility of collecting and preserving the history of the people of Tuscola County. Meetings are held at 7 pm, 1st Monday of Sept, Nov, Jan, Mar, and May in room 708 of Caro High School. A newsletter is published quarterly. TCGS is a member society of the National Federation of Genealogical Societies

We answer both e-mails and query letters! Feel free to write us Please be as specific as possible. Most people like you to be brief, but we like to get all the details so our answers can be of greater value without duplicated effort. Research easily done by the society from our local records is free. However, we appreciate cost for copies, postage, gasoline, etc.
