Elijah Farver

Elijah, no middle name, Farver, was born Dec. 10, 1836 in Jackson Twp., Columbia Co., PA to Jacob W. and Rachel Draminta Pegg Farver. He was the 6th of 13 children. He was married April 14, 1869 in Unionville, MI to Jerusha Florence Brown, d/o Stephen and Amanda Kelly Brown. Elijah died Feb. 15, 1921 in Unionville and is buried there. Jerusha was born Dec. 17, 1847 in Stark Co. Ohio. She died Sept. 14, 1920 and is buried in Unionville.

They had nine children:

1. Josephine Amanda , Aug. 13, 1871 in Columbia, Tuscola Co., MI.   Died Apr. 30, 1872

2. Anna Mae b. March 21, 1874 in Columbia, died. Feb. 18, 1879

3. Walter Edgar b. Feb. 8, 1878 in Columbia , died Jan. 4, 1960 Danville, Montour Co., Pa

4. James Courtland b. March 4, 1880 in Unionville died Aug. 24, 1968 Bloomsburg, PA

5. Ernest Glen b. Nov . 7, 1882 in Unionville died Nov. 7, 1882

6. Ellis Willard b. June 11, 1887 Unionville died Oct. 7, 1888

7. Byron Albert b. June 14, 1888 Unionville (twin) died June 15, 1888

8. Bertha Alice b. June 14, 1888 Unionville (twin) died, June 15, 1888

9. Benjamin Harrison b. Feb. 16, 1892 Unionville Died July 1, 1971 Bad Axe, MI

Only 3 lived to adulthood.

There were 17 sets of twins in our Farvers and still happening.

My husband's grandfather is Walter.
