George H. Granger, M.D.
was born in Wayland, Steuben County, N.Y. He first came to Michigan in 1863. In 1863 he went to Washington as a medical cadet....and in August, 1867, moved to the village of Unionville, where he located permanently. He is known as one of the most skillful and accomplished physicians in Tuscola County, and socially as a very genial and enjoyable gentleman. He has represented his country in the State legislature two terms, having been elected in 1879, and re-elected in 1881. Was president of the village of Unionville, and has held the position of county coroner and several other minor township offices. Is a married man.
