James McCloy Family
1896 found the James McCloy family settled on sections 5 and 6 of Fair Grove Township. (Note the rifle over the door). Born in 1850, McCloy emigrated from Ontario, Canada, to Fairgrove in 1878 with his bride, the former Elizabeth Underwood. Descendents still live in the Fairgrove area.
