Celebrates Birthday

Mr. and Mrs. John Van Cleve and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Legg very pleasantly surprised Mr. and Mrs. John Pohlod, Sr. on Friday evening when they dropped in with ice cream and cake to help Mrs. Pohlod celebrate his birthday which was Saturday.

Weekend guests of Mrs. Lillie Rossman were Mr. and Mrs. Ward Waldie of Gaylord, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lick and girls of Swartz Creek called on Saturday.

Sunday callers at the Rene Shields home in Koylton were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kramer of Pontiac, Ms.Walter Mathews of Marlette, Charles Mathews of Monroe, Mr. and Mrs. John Shield of Hemlock and Mr. and Mrs.Leo Legg and granddaughter Brenda Lalko.

Mrs. Everett Rich, Patsy and Maxine of Silverwood and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rich and children of Lapeer called on Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ensign Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Della Legg attended the North American Fashion and Beauty Show in Detroit Monday.

Nancy Rossman of Lansing spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Rossman.

Miss Nancy Plane of Ann Arbor spent the weekend with here parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Plane.

Ed and Ted Froede and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wenzlaff Sr., were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wenzlaff near Pontiac.

Mr. and Mrs. Max Dafoe and children of Pontiac, and Mr. and Mrs. Gail Huntly and son of Waterford were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Rossman.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jeffrey were in Saginaw Friday.

The Raymond Quiel’s of Taylor were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Torongeau.

Mr. and Mrs. James McCutcheon of Lewiston were guests Thursday through Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Lyons.

Gordon Walker and Mrs. Cecil Walker spent Sunday with Mrs. Ervin Leibier of Applegate. They attend Cash Church in the morning.

Miss Charlene Miller of Clarkston and Miss Jean Howes of Mt. Pleasant were Thursday noon dinner guests of Mrs. Loie Evans.

East Dayton News

Mrs. Nina Hunter visited Mr. and Mrs. Luther Berry Sunday and also called on Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Bragg.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Ward and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blink were Tuesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Murrey Docherty.

Mr. Walter Lockhart and son visited Mr. and Mrs. Murrey Docherty this past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Murrey Docherty called on Mrs. Grace Docherty Sunday, also on Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Vollweiler. They enjoyed supper with Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fox. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blink and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hilts and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Percy Raymond of Carol visited Mrs. Alfred Walls and Jane Hunt Sunday afternoon.

The Wells Dayton Farmers Club met at the hall at East Dayton Thursday for a pot luck supper. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ross were host and hostess. Donald Roberson called the meeting to order after the usual business was over and the meeting was turned over to Loyd Taylor, program chairman and he presented Mr. Bickle of Caro who talked and gave information on taxes and social security which was interesting to all. Meeting was adjourned and will be entertained for March by Mrs. Charles Mathews, Program chairman Leon Spencer, Fire Prevention will be the topic.

Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Hunter were in Saginaw Saturday and they brought Arthur Craig to his home. Both he and Mrs. Craig are much better.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Rumble of Akron were Tuesday guests of Mrs. Alfred Walls and Jane Hunt.

In the matte of the Estate of Frank S. Waskiewicz, Deceased.

At a session of said court, held on February 4,1964.

Present, Honorable Timothy C. Quinn, acting Judge of Probate.

Notice is hereby given, That the petition of Alfonso Waskiewicz the administrator of said estate, praying that his final account be allowed and the residue of said estate assigned to the persons entitled thereto, will be heard at the Probate Court on March 5th, 1964 at ten AM.

It is ordered, that notice thereof be given by publication of a copy hereof for three weeks consequently previous to said day of hearing, in the Kingston Enterprise, and that the petitioner cause a copy of this notice to be served upon each known party in interest at his last known address by registered, certified or ordinary mail (with proof of mailing) or by personal service at least fourteen (14) days prior to such hearing.
