Mr. and Mrs. Francis Peter of Kingston, announce the engagement of their daughter Gayle Ann, to James Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allison Green, also of Kingston. Miss Peter is a senior at Central Michigan University. Her fiance is a senior at Michigan State University. A June Wedding is planned.
Lucy E. Thompson Harbor Beach. News was received of the death January 17 of Mrs. Lucy Emma Thompson, 90 widow of John Thompson and former resident of Harbor Beach, n the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Darlene Cox in Wyandotte.
Born February 10, 1874 in London, Ontario. She was married August 28, 1899 to Mr. John Thompson. Mr. Thompson was superintendent of a cottage at Caro Hospital until he retired in 1950. Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson then brought a home in Harbor Beach. Mr. Thompson died in 1957.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by a brother Howard Legg in Florida, two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Weldon of Royal Oak, and Mrs. Laura Thorpe of Kingston, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were conducted in Caro Jan 20, 1964.
Leo Legg was honored at a birthday dinner Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lalko. There were 29 relatives present.
He received several gifts and the evening was very enjoyable.

Mrs. Harold Blink, Mrs. Gordon Hilts and Mrs. Frank LaPratt were Saginaw shoppers Saturday.
Mrs. Onalee Wells was a Sunday night guest of Mr. and Mrs. Murrey Docherty.
Mrs. Loyd Howey, Wilma, and Mrs. Alton Lyons were business callers in Saginaw Tuesday.
Mrs. J. H. Hunter entertained the Rev Travers Thursday evening for lunch.
Last week Mrs. Ernest Torongeau visited her children in Detroit, Taylor, Wyandotte, and Trenton.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ruhl and son of Cass City and Mrs. Hazel Wilmot were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Allen and children.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sura and family have moved to Jackson, Michigan. Jack is with the State Police.
Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Green and family spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Rodenbo and children in Auburn Heights.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Dora of Fruitport and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Quiel and children of Taylor spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Torongeau.
Mrs. Leland Ensign, Mrs. Douglas Ensign and Randy and Mrs. James Caswell spent Sunday in Fenton.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Moore of Lapeer were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Moore Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm Barr of Traverse City spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Coan.
Mrs. Arnold Moore, Mrs. Cecil Walker and Mrs. B. E. Moore called on Mrs. Reynolds in the Hill and Dale Hospital in Cass City Tuesday. They also called on Mr. and Mrs. Wm. DArcy.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert French of Bridgeport and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Burd of Gaylord were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Evans of Wilmot Sunday. In the afternoon all called on Mrs. Loie Evans.
Mr. Glen Clark and son Jerry of Pontiac were Saturday guests of Mrs. Loie Evans.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen VanWagoner and Mr. and Mrs. J. M.Burmeister visited the Harold Burmeister family on Saturday in Auburn Heights. A lovely baby girl had arrived there on Monday afternoon and had been named Beth Deanne. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Sam Sturgeon of Sterling.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the petition of Helen Schmuhl praying that the administration of said estate be granted to Helen Schmuhl or to some other suitable person; and that the heirs of said deceased by determined, will be heard at the Probate Court on February 13th, 1964 at ten A.M.
IT IS ORDERED, that notice thereof be given by publication of a copy hereof for three weeks consecutively previous to said day of hearing, in the Kingston Enterprise, and that the petitoner cause a copy of this notice to be served upon each known party in interest at his last know address by registered, certified or personal service at least fourteen (14) days prior to such hearing.
