| Council
Proceedings
A special meeting of the Kingston Common Council was called to order by President Edward Kaminski in the Kingston Community School on March 15, 1968 at 8:00 P.M. with the following members present: Barrons, Cameron, Gettel, Lalko, Lewicki and Peter. Also attending this special meeting were the school board members and their architects and Mr. Spicer of Spicer Engineering Company. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss whether or not it was feasible for the Village to go along with the school in regards to a sewage disposal system at the present time. At this time, it is not feasible for the village to go ahead with this plan without federal or state assistance, which we cannot get at this time. If the school can build a sewage system for the amount quoted by their architects it would be better at this time for the school to go ahead on their own. This meeting was adjourned at the school and then re-called to order in the Village Council Room at 9:00 P.M. The letter from the Planning Commission was read. There will be a meeting with them on May 1, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. at the school. This is in regards to the final report and recommendation by the Planning Commission. There was a general discussion on a new well. Thew was also a general discussion on a village man. Moved by Gettel, supported by Barrons to accept the building permit by Lauren Burns to remodel his barn and by George Westerby to construct a storage shed. Ayes All, Nays 0, motion carried. Moved by Mrs. Lalko, supported by Gettel to tentatively approve the building permit for Kenneth Diselrath with corrections to be made. Ayes All, Nays 0, motion carried.
