Death Notices – Clarence Michler

Clarence Michler, 61, a resident of the Kingston area all his life, died unexpectedly Monday.

He was born August 18, 1906 near Kingston and was a member of the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Marlette.

He is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Raul Ramirez, Pontiac, and Mrs. William Essary, Marlette; a son Lawrence, Salem, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Lewis Rossman, Lake Orson, and a brother Thomas, Kingston.

The remains were in Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette.

Rosary was recited at 9 p.m. Wednesday and at 3 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth’s church with Rev Robert J. Duggan officiating. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery in Clifford, Michigan.

Mrs. Stanley Moore visited Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Grindley in Owosso Wednesday and Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Rodenbo Johnny and Mary of Auburn Heights spent Saturday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neal.

Mrs. Lostis Wiswell of Detroit, Mrs. R. L. Dafoe of Warren and Mrs. Gerold Gerer of Pontiac called on their mother Mrs. Wiswell at the Arnold Moore home.

Mrs. Orville McBride of Sandusky called on her cousin, Mrs. Hazel Wilmot, Friday.

Mrs. James Jersey of Grand Ledge returned home Sunday after spending some time with the James Parker family.

Mr. Emerson Lonsbury, a former resident, now of Woodstock Ontario, and Mrs. Clarence Howard of Clifford were Thursday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Legg.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Weeks of Mshawaka, Indiana spent the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Foster Plane and Mr. and Mrs. Alan Weeks of Deckerville.

Joy Kramer spent the weekend at the Leo Legg and Mike Homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neal were Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Richter in Saginaw.

Mrs. Leo Legg and Mrs. Marvin Kramer called on Mrs. Dorothy Lee and Mrs. Eeheh Annin at the Memorial Wing of the Marlette Hospital, Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Gendron of Flint and Mr. Stephen Gendron of Caro were Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rassette.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Legg and 2 sons of Roscommon spent the weekend visiting relatives here.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ensign and children were Sunday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry McLeod of Silverwood.

Mrs. Cecil Walker is recuperating at her home after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Everett Penfold and Judy visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry Showers and Shannon over the weekend.

Miss Sharon Galubenski of C.M.U. spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Galubenski.

Mr. Ben D’Arcy of Silverwood was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Boyl and Wayne. It was Mr. D’Arcys 86th birthday. Also afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Little and family of Cass City.

LOCAL and SOCIAL

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kramer returned home Monday evening after visiting their son Bill at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. He was seriously injured in February, but is improving. Bill will be hospitalized for a long period of time and would appreciate hearing from his friends.

DEATH NOTICES – Earl Harneck

Earl Harneck passed away Tuesday April 2, 1968. Funeral services will be hold Saturday, April 6 at 2 P.M. from Harmon Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Kingston Cemetery.
