QUARTERLY MEETINGS

1917

May 4, 1917, The Sanilac Quarterly Meeting convened with the Clifford Church. Meeting called to order by the clerk and was Opened by Prayer and singing. Minutes of last meeting read and approved as read.

Letters were read from the following churches, Kingston, Clifford, and Novesta. On account of so few being present it was thought, but to lay business meeting over until Saturday morning. Moved that we adjourn to call of chair. Carried.

May 5. Meeting called to order by Bro. Sutphen. Treasurer’s annual report read and accepted as read.

Moved and supported that William Swailes be elected assistant Clerk and Treasurer for 1 year. Carried.

The following were elected Pulpit committee: Bro. Dunk, Bro. Jessie King, Bro. McWilliams.

The following members were elected Locating committee. Sister Mary Gammage, Bro. Townsend, Bro. Louis King.

Moved and supported the Sunday morning collection by left with the Clifford Church. Carried.

Move that $10.00 be sent to Sister Williams. Carried.

Moved and carried to adjourn to call of the chair.
