Announces Engagement Mr. and Mrs. Steve Moore of Kingston wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Janet of Yermo, California to Sgt Anthony Lee Mileski of Camp Pendelton, California. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mileski of Kingston. Miss Moore is attending a school of Cosmetology in Yermo. A spring wedding is being planned.

Will Celebrate Golden Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Will Hood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with open house Sunday, December 17 at the East Dayton Community Hall from 2 to 5 p.m. The occasion is being sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Roderick Hood and family. All relatives, friends and neighbors are invited.

Council Proceedings A regular meeting of the Kingston Common Council was called to order by President Edward Kaminski at 7:15 p.m. in the council room on December 4, 1967 with the following members present: Barrons, Gettel, Harmon, Lewicki and Peter. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Bills were referred to the Audit Committee. Moved by Gettel, supported by Harmon that the bills be allowed and orders by drawn for same. Ayes All, Nays 0. Motion carried. Moved by Gettel, supported by Harmon to accept the building permit for John Nickens for remodeling and repair work to Beauty Shop. Motion carried. Moved by Gettel, supported by Harmon to accept the building for Kingston Krome to enclose loading dock. Motion carried. Edward Lewicki and Duane Gettel will see that the candy boxes are ready when Santa Claus comes to town on December 16, 1967. Moved by Barrons, supported by Harmon that we transfer John Barden, Jr. from the auziliary members to the regular fire department members. Also, to add William Jeffrey, Eldon (Butch) Cummings, Walter Harmon, Arlo Ruggles and Ed Lyons to the regular fire department member list. Ayes: All, Nays, 0. Motion carried. There was a long discussion on Christmas decorations on Main Street in the Village of Kingston. It was decided that due to the lack of finances this year the Village would have no decoration up except for those already hung. It is hoped that in future years, the Village and the different organizations and church groups could work something out so that more can be done in regards to decorations. Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snover of Kingston have announced the engagement of their daughter Robina Candace to Stephen Nakoneczny. Mr. Nakoneczny is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve R. Nakoneczny of Warren. Miss Snover is a graduate of Kingston Community High School and Donbe Deauty School. Mr. Nakoneczny attended Wayne State University. A May wedding has been planned.
