Society News Spc.4 and Mrs. Terry Hudson of Texas called on relatives here Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Don Sullivan has returned to her home in New Haven from the University of Mich. Hospital much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Orrie Riemann returned to their home after spending several weeks with the Sullivan family. Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon France of Pontiac spent last weekend with their mother Mrs. Beulah France. Mrs. Blenda Fulford, who is staying with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hampshire spent last week Wednesday with Mrs. Minnie Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Coltson of Farmington and Mrs. Ayree Carroll of Highland Park visited relatives here Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Moore, Mrs. Wiswell, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moore, Wayne Moore, Miss Janet Harneck were entertained at a family dinner Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Moore and Ellen to honor Mrs. B. E. Moores birthday. Mrs. Ruth Frost of Marlette called on Mr. and Mrs. Leo Legg and Mrs. Beulah France Wednesday. Mrs. Stuart Copeland returned to her home Monday from the Osteopathic Hospital, Saginaw. Sp 4 Daryl Thorp arrived in Kingston Friday to visit friends and relatives. He is on a 25 day furlough from duty in Alaska. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Parrott, Grace and Jim entertained Mrs. Vernon Everett, Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Everett, Ulrich Scheuermann, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Garvis and family of Royal Oak, Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Graham and sons of Caro, Mr. and Mrs. James Klein of St. Charles and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Graham and baby of Caro, at a Christmas dinner Sunday December 22. Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. James H. Biston of Kingston announce the engagement of their daughter Jamie H. to Thomas G. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Taylor, 841 Audubon, East Lansing. A graduate of Elkhart (Ind) Institute of Technology, Miss Biston is a medical laboratory technician at Ingham Medical Hospital. She is a member of the American Medical Technologists. Mr. Taylor is a senior majoring in Television and Radio at Michigan State University and is a member of MSU Broadcasters. He is employed by Eberhard Foods, Inc. A March wedding is planned in St. Michaels Church in Wilmot.
