Wernette Silvernail Mr. and Mrs. Gary Silvernail Betty Mae Wernette and Gary Bruce Silvernail of Lansing were united in marriage early Saturday afternoon, July 6, in Cass City United Methodist Church. The Rev. Donald Turbin officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Wernette of Cass City and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce D. Silvernail of Kingston. The bride chose a floor length gown of imported silk organza, fashioned with a venetian lace bodice with brief sleeves and a modified cage silhouette over a sheath skirt highlighted by a lace banded train falling to a chapel sweep. Her cathedral veil of imported English illusion was secured by a matching lace bonnet with pearl accents and she carried a cascade bouquet of shephanotis and feverfew. Matron of honor was Mrs. Martin Wernette of Mecosta and bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert Bliss of Cass City and Miss Eugenia Dayton of Mt. Pleasant. The attendants were attired in nile green linen dresses fashioned with A-line skirts, fitted bodices, high necklines and accented with avocado green venetian lace. They wore matching bow headpieces and carried basket arrangements of white daisies, feverfew and green foliage. Ronald Textor of Flint was best man for the bridegroom and groomsmen were Richard Berry of Lansing and Ronald Bass of Cass City.
