Anniversary and Birthday Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Archie Rodenbo and family of Auburn Heights Mr. and Mrs. John Richter of Saginaw, Mr. and Mrs. John Rose and family of Saginaw, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neal enjoyed a picnic dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Denhoff Sunday honoring the birthday of Johnny Rodenbo and a surprise for Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neal on their 48th wedding anniversary.

Silver Anniversary On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Leland Ensign, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ensign and children, Mr. and Mrs. James Caswell, Alice and Art Steele, Lonnie Bewernitz, Barbara Fox, Mr. and Mrs. Basil Hudson of Marlette, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hudson and Donna of Lapeer, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Robert Ensign of Pontiac, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ensign and Tom, Grace Martin of Marlette and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tong of Detroit gathered at the Ensign cottage to help Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ensign celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary A delicious pot luck dinner was enjoyed.

Mrs. Carl Scharich of Palmetto, Florida and Mrs. Audrey Shaw of Flint visited Mr. and Mrs. James Caswell, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parker, and Mr. and Mrs. Hank Bastian enjoyed a week vacation in Canada, returning home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Parker and family of Horton are moving into their new home north and east of town. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Barrons of Waterford held Open House Sunday June 23 to honor their son William (Bo) Barrons on his graduation from Waterford Kettering High School. Those from here attending were, Mr. and Mrs. James Barrons, and family, Mr and Mrs Laverne Barrons and family, Mrs. Cenith Barrons, Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Wenzlaff and family, Mr and Mrs. Louis F. Wenzlaff, and Mr. and Mrs. John Barden Jr, and family. Mrs. Hazel Wilmot is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Powell and family in Lum. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neal attended the Rossman Reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beckman in Davison Sun. Mrs. Dale Clement and baby, Mrs. Hazel Parker, and the James Parker children are on vacationing at the Parker Cabin. Mrs. Albert Denhoff and family, Mrs. Fred Neal and Mrs. John Richter attended a party given by Mrs. John Rose in Saginaw Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Grindley of Owosso spent two days last week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rassette had lunch with their son and family Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rassette Wednesday and visited their daughter May in Mt. Pleasant and enjoyed dinner with her in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Jeffrey, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gilmore, Carol and Faye and Mrs. Terry Boyne and son Jeffrey of Marlette visited with Mrs. Mattie Roberts and Mrs. Mabel Mathews.

| COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
A special meeting of the Kingston Common Council was called to order by President Edward Kaminski at 8:30 P.M. in the Council Rooms on June 17, 1968 with the following members present: Barrons, Cameron, Mrs. Lalko, and Peter. There was a discussion on the final Planning and Zoning Report. It was decided to table a decision on the final report. Attorney William Drillock was present for the meeting. Moved by Barrons, supported by Mrs. Lalko that we adjourn. Beverly Jeffrey, Village Clerk.
