Mrs. James Caswell, Mrs. Foster Plane and Alice Steele were business callers in Saginaw, Fri.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tong of Detroit were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Ensign. They called on Mr. and Mrs. Ellwood Eastman at Cass City Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Howey and Wilma were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Lyons Wed. evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Torongeau spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rassette.

Wm. Kramer has been moved to the Piedmont Hospital Peach Tree St. Atlanta, GA, Room 322 for bone surgery.

Recent guests at the J. M. Burmeister home were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gould and Glenna of Caro, and Mr. and Mrs. George Burmeister of Mt. Clemens.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Burmeister Jacque, John and Beth of Auburn Heights were week end guests of their parents Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Burmeister.

Mrs. Blanche Gottschalk of Beaverton is visiting her sister Mrs. Loie Evans.

Mrs. Hazel Parker has word that Mr. and Mrs. Louis Legg, Mr. and Mrs. Don Legg Roscommon and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Predmore of Detroit are visiting Mrs. Cecil Van Cleave in Mobile, Alabama.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Ensign called on Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ensign in Caro, Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Louis F. Wenzlaff had the misfortune to fall and fracture her left arm Sunday.

Mrs. Cecil Walker has returned home after visiting her children in Pontiac and surgery at Cass City Hospital.

Mrs. Hazel Parker has returned home from the Caro Hospital and is recuperating at home.

Mr Ben Kramer, Mrs. Ethel Lewis of Flint, Miss Janet Jickling of Saginaw and Rodney Kramer of C. M.U. were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kramer and Joy.

Don Legg was in Lapeer Sat. and Sun. taking training in the National Guard.

Miss Pam Lyons and Jill Barden were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Lyons.

Howard Clement, Clayton Hunter, Earl Butler, and Leland Ensign attended the meeting of Supervisors of the 7th. District in Bad Axe last Thursday.

Mrs. Rose Froede entered St. Mary’s Hospital, Saginaw Mon. afternoon for surgery Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Alice Ingersoll of Prudenville, Mr. Frank D’Arcy and Mrs. Alton Lyons were Thursday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin D’Arcy in Almot.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ensign and family were Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Henry McLeod of Silverwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Silvernail of Auburn spent Wednesday with their mother, Mrs. Pearl Silvernail.

Mrs. Arnold Moore and Mrs. Wiswell visited relatives in Pontiac, Friday.

Mr. and Mrs.Ed Bilicki are moving into their other home in Wilmot following the fire last week that destroyed their home.

Miss Mary Rassette of C.M.U. spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rassette.

DEATH NOTICES

Mrs. James Parker (Faith Rassette) died instantly Wednesday noon when she drove her car into the path of the oncoming train at Kingston. Her small daughter was with her and was taken to a hospital.

No further details are available at this time.

Obituary will be next week.
