Home Ec. Girls Have Style Show The Home Economics girls of Kingston High School presented the third annual Style Show on Monday, May 8, 1967, at 8:30 in the gymnasium. The girls who participated were the Home Economic girls, grades 9-12. The styles ranged from the granny dress, modeled by Lynda Conley, to the double breasted suit, which Evelyn Schmuhl modeled, to the mini skirt of course which Pam LaFond made. The outfits were described by Cathie Galubenski and Lois Walls, in a setting of Central Park. These styles all were highlighted by multi-colored lights. The girls were assisted off the state by Lyle Curry and Dave Roberson. Mr Wayne Smith, the band director at Kingston, conducted and played in a five piece combo with Ellen Moore, Sandra Silvernail, Lonnie Bewernitz and Ed Van Horn during the event. The friends and relatives of the participating girls attended this show after a short PTA meeting. At the close of the show, Mrs Miller, the Home Ec. Teacher was presented with a dozen red roses and a kiss from Kim La Fond, on behalf of all the Home Economics girls. Refreshments were served by the sophomore girls after the program. We wish to thank everyone who came and we hope you enjoyed the show as much as everyone who participated in the program did.
