Pilot Decorated By President Major Paul F. Koeltzow, a graduate of Kingston High School was on of eleven pilots decorated on Veterans Day by President Johnson. The Tuscola County flyer received the Silver Star for gallantry in action while flying air missions over Viet Nam. Major Koeltzow was credited with saving the live of another flyer under his command. Koeltzow was born in Millington and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Koeltzow, moved to Saginaw from Kingston a few years ago.

OBITUARIES - Joseph Prabucki Joseph Prabucki, 74, a resident of rural Kingston for the past 26 years, passed away November 12th at the Hills and Dales Hospital, Cass City, after a short illness. Joseph Prabucki was born in Poland on Feb 14, 1893, and came to Detroit at an early age. He married Stephanie Furlepa in Detroit in 1922. To this union were born 4 children, Stephen who died in infancy, Wanda (Leja) of Detroit, Cecelia (Dubovsky) of Standish, and Mitchell Prabucki of Vassar. Irene (Furlepa) Schwaderer of Kingston a step daughter. Mrs Prabucki preceded him in death in 1953. Mr. Prabucki married Helen Cherniawski of Caro in 1954. Mr. Prabucki leaves his widow, Helen, the above mentioned children, seven grandchildren, 22 step grandchildren and one step great granddaughter. Funeral mass was said by Father Ray Pilarski at St. Michaels Church, Wilmot on Wednesday, Nov 15th. Interment was in the Caro Cemetery.

To Honor 50 Years A Mass of Thanksgiving, celebrated by Rev. Father Raymond Pilarski of St. Michaels Church, Wilmot will mark the 50th wedding anniversary of Francis and Vida Champagne. They were married November 26, 1917 in Pinnebogs St. Felix Church by Fr. William Courtney. Open House for friends will be held at St. Michaels Social Hall Nov 26th from 3-5 p.m. The couple have six living children, 27 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Wed in Evening Ceremony Miss Susan Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kelley, Kingston, became the bride of Mr. Ronald G. Chappel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Chappel of Marlette, on Saturday evening, Octover 28, 1967. Rev. John E. Larkin performed the candlelight double ring ceremony in the First Presbyterian Church of Marlette. Mrs. William Stieler of Marlette was the organist as Mrs. Allen Keys of Marlette sang Because" and "I Love You Truely." The bride given in marriage by her father, chose a nylon organza, trimmed with sequins, sabrina neckline, and long sleeves forming points over the wrists. The full skirt with lace ruffles fell to a chapel train. A headpiece of petals held her illusion veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of white pom pom mums centered with two white orchids with white satin streamers. Mrs. Sue Ann Chapel served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Ann Hunter, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Linda Long and Mrs. Marsha Kennedy, both friends of the bride. Their fall colored dresses of gold and dark green respectively were of velvet. The floor length skirt was accented by a satin bow at the back waist. Their circular veils were held in place by a velvet bow and a pearl setting. They carried a cascade style of white, green and yellow pom pom muns to match their dresses. Natalie Long and Maria Jefsen were their cousins flower girls. Their floor length green dresses were identical to the attendants gowns. They carried baskets of yellow, green and white pom pom muns. Paul Chappel served as his brothers best man. Ron Coulter, Jack Lampert, friends of the bridgegroom and Larry Chappel, cousin of the bridegroom, served as groomsmen. Ushers were George Pollack and Hugh Coupar, uncles of the bridegroom. Frederick Kelley, brother of the bride was ring bearer. For her daughters wedding, Mrs. Kelley wore a long two piece aqua dress with matching accessories. She wore a corsage of red sweetheart roses. Mrs. Chappel wore a two piece avacado knit suit with olive trim and matching accessories. Her corsage was of red sweetheart roses. A reception was held in the Clifford I.O.O.F. Hall following the ceremony. After a Niagara Falls honeymoon, the couple are now residing at the Marlette Motel. The later will proceed to North Carolina for a year.
