DEATH NOTICES Mr. John Pohlod, Sr., 77, passed away at the Hills and Dales Hospital, Cass City, November 1, 1967, after an illness of one week. HE was born February 8, 1890 in Czechoslovakia. Mr. Pohlod came to the United States in 1908. He and Mary Kareha were married February 24, 1920 in Detroit. They have lived in this area since 1937. Besides his wife Mary, he leaves on son, John Jr., of Kingston and 2 grandsons, Roger and Daniel. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m., from the Kingston Methodist Church with Rev. Sherman Beird officiating. Burial was in the Kingston Cemetery.

HOSPITAL NOTES David, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parker came home Thursday, following surgery in Caro Community Hospital.
