Homecoming News Another Homecoming game has come and gone at K.H.S. Jane Peter was elected Homecoming Queen Friday afternoon and was crowned during the halftime ceremonies of the football game. She was crowned by Barbara Fox, last years Queen. Jane is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peter of Kingston. Members of Janes court were: Sharon Vassallo and Judy Hergenreder, from the Seniors; Janet Harneck, from the Junior Class; Barbara Kolacz, a Sophomore; and Carol Kilmek, from the Freshman Class. During the parade Friday evening, the various class floats were judged, with the Junior Class coming out on top with their theme of "To Sir With Love." The Eighth grade got second place with their theme of "Ode to Billie Joe." Third place went to the Sophomores with the theme of "Zip Code." The floats were judged by Rev. Raymond Pilarski, Rev. Sherman Beird, and Rev. Raymond Dean. The biggest disappointment of the night was the loss of the football game to Unionville by the score of six to nothing. Unionville scored early in the first quarter, and the rest of the game was a struggle of one tough defense against another. Kingstons only drive took them to Unionvilles eight yard line. The drive came on a pass from Dale Allen to Paul Miller in the second quarter.
