Mr. and Mrs. Severyn Banowski wish to announce the arrival of a new baby daughter. She was born October 11, 1968 at the Caro Community Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs., 10 oz., and has been named Melissa Ann.

Miss Mary Rassette of CMU spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rassette.

Sunday visitors at the Eugene Rassette home were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rassette and family of Harper Woods, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rassette and family of Linwood.

Mrs. Douglas Ensign, Ronnie and Steve visited Mrs. Robert Miles of Clifford and Mrs. Don Rich at Otisville, Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. James Jersey of Grand Ledge spent the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Dale Clement.

Mrs. Louis F. Wenzlaff, Mrs. Bruce Ruggles, and Mrs. Leland Ensign attended the East Central District of Michigan Convention of Federated Clubs in Saginaw Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wally Wilmot, Doug and Jeff of Royal Oak spent Sunday with their mother Mrs. Hazel Wilmot.

Mr. and Mrs. John Lumburt and son of Horton are visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Parker & family.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ruggles called on Mrs. Belle Blow in Oxford Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Rassette of Detroit spent Sunday evening and Monday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rassette.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Clement of Chesaning spent the weekend with their uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Dale Clement.

Mrs. Lulu Glassford returned home after spending 2 weeks visiting her son, Mr. and Mrs. James Glassford in Houston, Tex.

Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Childers and children spent Sunday with James Coan.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Koppelberger and family spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Foster Plane. The children stayed with their grandparents on Saturday while Richard and Virginia were on a canoe trip with some young people.

Mr. and Mrs. Rene Shields of Koylton were Sunday afternoon callers at the Leo Legg home.

Mr. and Mrs. Alton Lyons spent Saturday afternoon and evening with their son, Rev. and Mrs. Wm. Lyons and family in Pontiac.

Mr. and Mrs. Allison Green of Lansing spent the weekend at their farm home.

Monday evening the Kingston Township election officials attended the school of instructions at Caro. Those attending were Mary Gyomory, Joan Darling, Luella McLaughlin, Elizabeth Wenzlaff, Ada Hurshburger, Irene Moore, Amie Nemeth, Wanda VanVleet and Beverly Schrader.
