Frank
Dore passed away at Audrain Hospital Tuesday morning
where he had been seriously ill for several weeks.
Francis Lawrence Dore was born in Boston, Mass., Nov. 28,
1872. In 1886 he came to Missouri and spent the rest of
his life in this locality. He was a miner by trade but
retired several years ago.
He
was first married to a Miss Reighley who passed away
after a few years leaving two children, Mrs. Laura Bugg
now of St. Louis and Robert Dore of Los Angles, Calif.
On December 20, 1902 he was married to Miss Ora Mae
Sanders of Farber and to this union eleven children were
born, there of whom Lena, James and Thelma preceded the
fathre in death. Surviving are the devoted wife and the
following children: Mrs. Lee LaBrayer, McAllen, Texas;
Albert Dore, Granite City, Ill.; Edward Dore,
Leavenworth, Kans,; Fred Dore, Perry; Morgan, Ray and
June of the home. He also leaves ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at
theLaddonia Christian Church with Rev. Bloebaum in charge
and burial will be at Vandalia.
