- Funeral services were held Saturday at the General Baptist Church in Lutesville for Mrs. Emma Idella Eaker, 90 years old, who died Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Milas Rhodes of near Zalma. Burial was in Shelton Cemetery near Lutesville. Mrs Eaker, a life long resident of this county, was born Feb. 5, 1871 near Lutesville. She was a daughter of the late Anderson and Jane Fowler. She was married to Thomas Eaker, who died in 1940. She was a member of the Clubb Creek General Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Herbert of Lutesville and Joseph of Jerseyville, ILL.; two daughters, Mrs Hollie James of Lutesville and Mrs. Rhodes, with whom she resided; a brother, James Fowler of Los Angeles, Calf.; a half sister, Mrs. Ada Gaither of Zalma; 38 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
