Lenard "Steve" W. Garner, age 67, of Advance, MO., died Friday, Jan. 10, 1997,
at the John Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Sept. 1, 1929 at Sank, Mo., son of Jonah and Myrtle Angel Garner.
Garner was a farmer and of the General Baptist faith.
Survivors include: his special friend, Lorene Cavaner of Zalma;
one son, Rick Garner
of Advance and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was one infant son, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held at Liley Funeral Home with Rev. James Johns and
Rev.
Denver Eaker officiating.
Interment was in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery
near Marble Hill.
