- Rosana E. Smith, on February 4th the death angle visted our home and took
from us, our dear mother, Mrs. Rosana E. Smith, aged 97 years, 2 months and 20
days.
Interment was in Patton Cemetery.
She was the mother of five children, two
of whom preceded her in death several years ago.
An only son was killed by
lightning.
She leaves to mourn her departure three daughters; Mrs. C. N. Dennis,
Mrs. W. F. Kuhlman and Mrs. L. P. Schneider, all of Patton.
She also leaves
to mourn 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the
Methodist Church, a true Christian
She was first married to Ransom J. Smith and after his death, she married his
brother, Henry J. Smith.
Ransom and Rosana had one daughter, Sarah Smith and
Henry and Rosana had 1 son, Francis and 3 daughters, Cora, Mary and an Unknown
Smith.
