- Elsie Geraldine Smith, 75, of Marble Hill, passed away March 24, 2000. She was born May 4, 1924, daughter of the late Elmer Todd and Liza Copeland Kent. Also preceded by one son; one sister. She married Edward Smith on July 12, 1946, in Nashville, IL.
Survived by husband, Edward Smith; children Sandra Boyer of Grassy, MO; Bruce Smith of Marble Hill; Harold Smith of Farmington; David Smith of St. Louis; Edward Smith of DeSoto; Donald R. Smith of St. Louis; brothers and sisters Ira Kent of Marble Hill; Charlie Kent of Marble Hill; Riley Kent of Festus; Lucille Jackie Smithee of Craig, CO; Raymond Kent of Grand Junction, CO.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gerald Huff officiating.
Burial in Baker Cemetery.
