- Emma J. Smith
Born: ???
Died: ???
- Emma J. Smith, the fifteen-year-old daughter of Jack Smith of near Patton, was killed about seven o'clock Tuesday evening by being thrown from a horse, it is thought. It seems that she had been out to where her father was working and had started home and it is thought that the horse got frightened and threw her off. She was found on the road shortly after the accident with her neck broken. -- Bollinger Co. Times.
