THURSTON
I am researching the THURSTON family in Bollinger. Josiah D. THURSTON was born 19 Apr 1823 in Indiana. He died 10 Dec 1900. He married Phoebe McKEE in Indiana on 22 Aug 1852. Phoebe was born 12 Apr 1835 in Shelby County, Indiana, died 22 Jan 1888 in Bollinger County. Both are buried in Cox Cemetery. Known children are William, John Wesley, Anthony W., Mary, George R., Joseph, Emma, and Albert. My great-grandfather, John Wesley THURSTON married Cynthia Jane COBBLE on 5 Aug 1883, in Bollinger County. Children are Lulu Ellen, Arminta Myrtle, Lotha Dell, Orpha O., and Leo Harley. I have information to share on the THURSTON and McKEE families.

Looking for any information on Hardin Walker who may have lived in Bollinger Co. in the late 1800's. He was married to a woman named Mariah Elizabeth Cooper and I believe they had three sons one of whom was named Eugene. Any information would be appreciated.

Looking for information on John WATSON and Sarah (or Sallie) SCOTT who I believe lived in Bollinger Country in the last half of the 19th century. They had three children: William Preston WATSON (1888-1979)who died in Kennett, MO Anna Margaret WATSON (1891-1975) who died in Kennett, MO and John O. (?Overton) WATSON who lived in Michigan but died in Kennett, MO.

Looking for any information on George Wiggins born cir 1825 in North Carolina moved to Bollinger Co. Missouri and married Elizabeth they had the following children Mary Emily Born cir 1855 who married J. Thomas Green Leggett, Hamilton A., William D. and Lewis T. Wiggins. He was born in Laflin, Bollinger County about September 1894. Served in US Army in WW1, 350th Infantry. Died Sept. 30, 1933 and is buried in Barks Chapel Cemetery at Whitewater, Cape Girardeau County. Who were his parents and siblings?

Joshua Hahn, Jr. and moved to Greene and Pike Co., IL David, Jr. m. Sarah Bollinger and died inCalhoun Co., IL before 1836. Children brought back to MO and later moved to Platte Co., MO with their mother and stepfather; Elizabeth m. Peter Baker and lived in Bollinger Co.; Mary m. Jacob Crader and lived Calhoun Co., IL ; Joseph m. Martha___ and moved to Macoupin Co., IL, then disappears; Philip m.(1) Fanny Deck m.(2) Sarah Masters Hartle m(3) Catharine Fulbright and lived on the family farm; Sarah m.
