    Surnames:(in capital letters only) HEMBREE
    Comments:
Seeking information about the family of Davis HEMBREE [married to Adaline MILLER]. Davis HEMBREE was born May 16, 1816 in South Carolina; died Aft. 1888 in Missouri. Davis migrated to Missouri with his son, Joseph C. HEMBREE. In the 1888 biographical sketch of his son, Joseph C. HEMBREE, Davis was described as living in Bollinger Co., MO with his children [presumably Joseph C. Hembree's family]. In that same sketch, his wife, Adaline, was reportedly deceased].

I have been unable to locate, so far, any solid documentation about the death of either Davis HEMBREE or his wife, Adaline. I would like to find out exactly when and where they died, and where they are each interred. Help with this will be much appreciated.

In your research, have you encountered the names Henry F. Nichols (1859-1921) and Mary Nichols (1871-1930)? These are my paternal great-grandparents, and the only information that I have on them is that I'm told they are buried in a church cemetery in Sedgewickville, and this 1920 census listing:

    Name: Theresa Lindsey <jlindsey@wans.net>
    Date: 2006-08-30
Surnames:(in capital letters only) HEINBAUGH, HINDBAUGH
    Comments:
Looking for the information of John "Tom" Hindbaugh who died "near Greenbriar" in March 1900 as stated in local paper. In addition, his wife Charlotte Wise Hindbaugh who preceeded him abt 1898. Having gone through all local records, I have still not found their burial area. Or data about a "sale of his belongings" after death. He had 5 children: William Gratten, Ralph, John, Emil and a girl. Have not found deaths or burial of John and the girl. This family came from Indiana about 1896 probably with another relative - the Lane family members. Any information appreciated to jlindsey@wans.net

    Name: Judi Ries <jries9161@sbcglobal.net>
    Date: 2006-08-25
    Surnames:(in capital letters only) O'KELLEY / PRESNELL
    Comments:
I am trying to document family folklore regarding the marriage (date not known) of MATTIE MAY O'KELLEY (Patton, Missouri) to someone with the surname PRESNELL, who may have been a doctor. They had two children: CHARLES and PINKNEY (PINCKNEY?) who were probably born in the late 1880's or early 1890's. Mattie was the youngest child and only daughter of Dr. Thomas Katlet and Margaret Ann Capehart O'Kelley, but nothing is known about Mr. (Dr.?) Presnell.
