I am trying to find out any information on my Grandfather's mother. Before he died he made a tape telling his life's story. His father died in January of 1899. They then moved to Morgan County and then back to Dongola in 1902 and his Mother remarried to a Limbaugh. He never refers or gives his first name. I can't seem to find any record of her marriages.

My great grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Cheek b.1849. Her father's name was Jesse C. Cheek. Mother was Mary Catherine Grable Cheek. Sarah was born in Bollinger Co. I am trying to find out where & when her father Jesse Cheek died(I think it was in Texas), also trying to determine who his father was for sure. I am interested in finding if there are any descendants of William C. and Annie Brown. They are listed in the 1930 census as being in Crooked Creek Twp, Bollinger Co. He was born in MO and was a farmer per 1930 census. The census does list three children: Jane, Leslie and Charles as well as the parents of William those being Chris H. I have had no success in finding information about Lydia E. WILKINSON who married DANIEL JOSEPH MCGEE. The license was obtained in Marble Hill 1889. What I need is information on the date and place of death of Lydia, sometimes called Liddie. Daniel and Lydia had 6 sons and 2 daughters born in Bolinger, Stoddard and Dunklin Counties between 1889 and 1912.
William McGhee, son of Daniel married Lillie Hendrix. Their license was obtained in Poplar Bluff, MO

I am searching for family history on my father's side. Rufus Earl Virgin Jr. is his name. His father's name is Rufus Earl Virgin. His father was living in Missouri in the 1910 census but I'm not sure what his father's name was. My grandfather reportedly left home at an early age due to physical abuse and never looked back. My great-grandfather's name may have been Alfred but there is also a son or uncle with that name. I'd appreciate any help. Rufus Earl Virgin Sr. was born on March 4, 1902 and in 1910 he was living in Bollinger, Missouri. Thank you.
