    Ruth's husband was Pearl L. Brotherton.

    They lived in Flat River, Missouri (long before the name changed to Park Hills).

    I would appreciate any information that anyone could give me on a James W. Eaker who fought in the Civil War for both sides. He was married to Lucinda Sweazea. They lived in the Grassy, Mo. area.

    Lucinda is the daughter of Christina Mansker Sweazea and John Sweazea.

    Miles Francis (senior) father of Oliver Jacob Francis also lived in this area.

    Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.

    George Sweazea was born in 1852 to John and Christian {Mansker} Sweazea, in Bollinger Co.
    George was first married to Elizabeth R. Eaker in 1871,
    they had 2 children that I know of John Henry and Bertha
    Sweazea. Elizabeth must have died.
    George marries next Mary C. Myrick in June of 1880.
    They had 6 children: Josphine, Georgia Ann, Rosel Franklin,
    Nannie May, Sarah E. and May lucy.
    Mary died. George moves to Stoddard Co. and marries Mary Ann {Pierce} McBride on April 25,1900. George dies in 1904/1905
    in Stoddard Co. He and Mary Ann Sweazea had 2 sons,
    Gilbert born in Feb 1901 dies as a baby. Otto Lewis born
    June 1, 1902.
    Would like to know if George Sweazea was buried in Bollinger Co.?

    Does anyone have any info on Jurlene Leda Cecile Brown Burcks? She is buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Scopus. Born Sept, 1939, died May, 1999.
    I am not sure how she would be connected to my father's family but with the same spelling and in the same area as my great grandfather sure gives me a lead.
    My great grandfather is John Henry Burcks, buried in the Texas Bend Cemetery just outside of Charleston, MO.
    I appreciate any info.

She married my great-grandfather, Maston LILEY (also LYERLY and LYERLE) on December 9, 1877 in Bollinger County, MO. I have seen her middle initial listed as an A at times and D at other times. I have also seen her middle name listed as Bell. She would have been born around 1860.

    I am looking for leads to my gggg-grandmother, Gabriella (GALLOP)Peace. We have NO idea what Missouri counties she lived resided in except Iron Co.,Mo where she lived most of her married life.
    I know there are or have been GALLOP families in Bollinger Co.
    We know that on 14 Sep.1876 Manerva GALLOP married in Madison Co.,Mo to Thomas Choat and at some point after that they resided in Bollinger(according to another researcher-I have not had a chance to check this out).
    (The following data taken from obituary written be Rev. JC. Berryman).Gabriella (GALLOP)Peace was b/14 May 1814 in KY. She married Rev. Andrew Peace12 Oct. 1832. Gabriella d/06 Nov.1868 in Iron Co.,Mo.
