Andrew is found on the Bledsoe Co. tax list in 1815 and later in 1820 on the Perry Co. tax list where I suspect he died in 1834. It was after that that Penninah moved with her children to Graves Co. KY, then on to Cape Girardeau Co in 1838 where she lived until her death in 1843. Henry resided on 900 acres in Bollinger County, MO and had 10 children with Margaret Jane. Their oldest child, John Michael b. 1850 md. Lorena Rowe and they had ten children. The 2 youngest sons, William and Thomas (my grandfather) were orphaned around the respective ages of 15 and 11. (I have quite a lot of information from Henry to date) Possibly other children were born between 1760 and 1768. William b. 1768 >Orange Co., NC>Claiborne Co., TN Isaac b. QRYTEXT: George A. Lacy moved to Stoddard County and then to Cape Giradeau(1862)in the 1860's from Williamson County. If you read the attached letter you will see that he was basically running for his life during the Civil War campaign, along with his wife: Susan E. Bolin Lacy and their 3 surviving children Eliza Jane, Susan Lucinda and Elijah Ewing Lacy. I believe the wife Susan and son Elijah were the only ones that survived and ended up in Christian County, KY. In 1862, still trying to hide from the confederate army, George moves his family to Cape Giradeau (River Bottom area). Please read the attached letter and I would love to hear from anyone who might have information on what happened to George or perhaps his capture by confederate troups. Mention of soldiers pursuing him are also documented in letter. Takes a moment to load. He disappears around the time of Vicksburg and his wife Susan remarries and moves to Kentucky.
