QRYTEXT: Seeking any information availabe on the listed individuals, especially date of death and burial. In 1823 WELTON O'BANNON is living in Cape Girardeau Co., MO. He patented a tract of land and in 1837 several more tracts. It is believed the tracts were located near Jackson, MO. WELTON married Catherine snodgrass on 7 Sept. 1818 in Hardy County VA. It is believed she died in the early 1820's. He then married RACHAEL CUNNINGHAM, 25 April 1824 in Maryland. She died sometime prior to 1838 when he married REBECCA RUSSELL, 9 Oct 1838 in Cape Girardeau Co. Some time prior to the birth of his son JOSEPH H. OBANNON in 1851, he married HANNAH A. MINERVA (it is uncertain that MINERVA was her surname). It is believed that the first three wives of WELTON died in Cape Girardeau Co., but I have no data. It is also believed that WELTON's father JOSEPH P. H. O'BANNON and his mother MARTHA WELTON or possibly WELDON also died in Cape Girardeau Co. I have considerable land patent, and census data on the above, but no death information.
