SURNAMES: WELCH, THOMPSON, PARKS, JOHNSON; Native American?
Comments:
The 1850 Census of Dunklin County lists most of the family of Samuel and Sarah (Bolin) WELCH, although Samuel has passed away by this time. The children are Anna M. WELCH - married Anderson THOMPSON, Nancy C. WELCH, m1 Parks, M2 JOHNSON, Sarah A. E. WELCH, Hiriam T. WELCH, and Vina WELCH. I would like to find other researchers working on this family. Hiriam T. Welch, CSA and prisoner of war, is my line. family lore tells of a native american connection. Thanks.
