Name: Jo Wilson <JodyWils@aol.com>
Date: 2004-11-27
SURNAMES: NAPPER, SCOTT, BESS
Comments:
Buren Napper is buried in Stanfield Cemetery, Clarkton, Dunklin Co., MO. Also buried there is Verda Mae Napper, and on a double stone with Buren is Feral Napper. The rootsweb site for Stanfield Cemetery states that Verda Mae was the wife of Buren. This is not on the monument that I could find on a trip to the cemetery. Who is Feral who is buried beside Buren?
Would like to correspond with someone of this family if possible. Buren's mother was Nellie Scott, a niece of my grandfather, William Lawson Bess.

SURNAMES: HITE
Comments:
According to death certs, my two oldest siblings are buried in Cardwell in a cemetery there. I have never been able to locate the cemetery. The first death cert says:
Mary Louise Hite, b. June 24, 1916 d. Sept 13, 1917 in Senath MO. Parents B. H. Hite (Hide) and Mary Vanover. The second death cert says: Still Born, but that has been crossed out, and the last name Hight (which is spelled incorrectly). b. Oct 8, 1917, d. Oct 8, 1917, I can hardly read the cert but it looks like the undertaker was McDaniel, Cardwell MO. If anyone knows of this undertaker and or the records from there please let me know.

Thanks,
Shirl Hite Sieli

Looking for Stanfield cemetery and caretakers phone number or mailing address. Looking for obituaries of James Edmond Harris born around 1859 in TN. still living in the 1930 census with one of his sons Jess Willis Harris in district 17 Dunklin County Cotton Hill Township. James wife's name is Elizabeth McClain Harris she was also alive in the 1930 census also with Jess she was born around 1861 in MO. I can't locate an obituary for these 2 . They are my greatgrandparents. Also anyone know of Briant Robinson from NC who was stepfather to James E. Harris and his 2 brothers William E. Harris born around 1863 TN and John W. Harris born 1865 TN. Is Rebecca J. Robinson the biological mother or the Aunt? Any insight would be greatly appreciated .

I am trying to find a GG Aunt-Millie Stone-she was in 1910 census age 13 Dunklin, Sales Township, page 257B SD 12, ED 71, dwelling #326 family #327 it is difficult to read but wondered if anyone could help me "read" it
I am pretty sure that her parents were dead, David Young Stone and her Mother (all I know is the maiden name was either ROAM or Roan
The family she was living with in 1910 the names could be Keaz(s)i which I have found connected to her and Roam/Rone although it looks like it is spelled Rhone
I am pretty sure this is the right one and hope to see if anyone could help me "track" her to 1920-she probably married maybe to someone named Howard there again I have been "told" that she had a daughter that was named Candy Howard
All this is just things I have been told and am trying to sort them out.
Anything you are able to help me with is greatly appreciated-we are planning a family renuion soon and I would like to have some answers to these questions

Thanking you in adavance
