Does anyone have photos of the Hopkins Community which was on top of Crowley's Ridge on County Road WW? There was a church still there not too many years ago but it has now been torn down. This is the area where Stewart's Orchards are located. Thank you.

My 2g-grandparents, William Miller and Sarah Wilkins Miller and two sons, James Thomas and Jesse Clement were listed in the 1860 Dunklin Co. census. Sarah and her family were listed in the 1950 census. I'm desperately trying to learn something about William Miller and his parents. Also William and Sarah's marriage. If anyone has information, please share. If not, if anyone has suggestions on where to look, HELP!

I'm looking for information on the family of William Johnson and Julia Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bassham Johnson. Children were: Rosie (married Jim Bridges), Charles, Tempy, Becky, Nettie, David, James, Maud, and Hubert. William Johnson was born in Illinois; Lizzie Bassham was from KY. They were married in 1889, and moved sometime after that to Clay County, Arkansas, and then to Dunklin County, Missouri. Any help appreciated.

I'm trying to trace my mom's family history. We're My Grandma is Betty Adkins, her brother is Bobby Adkins their mother and father were Daisy (Brown) and Herbert . My Grandpa is Denise Rainey, his sister's name is Glena there mother and father were Helan (Wilson) and Graden

My grandparents grow up in Senath, Mo., but I've been told that both families came from Tenn.

Also Bobby Adkins was on the ship USS Boise CL-47 in WWII

Looking for info on Billie Demint who was hung by Confederate guerrillas in 1863 on Crowley's Ridge near the community of Hopkins. Also would like info on my great grandmother, Alice Demint (later Morefield)who was either Billie's sister or niece. Billie's father may have been James Demint who moved from Massac County, Illinois in the 1850's.

Adam Barnhart and wife Elizabeth (Broyles) Barnhart came to first Stoddard County and then that part that they lived in became Dunklin County. This would have been about 1820's. He was still living in Dunklin County, Mo during the census of 1860 we have not been able to locate this family after that. He was said to have been a fine carpenter and built several fine home's in Dunklin County. Need location of grave sites and or descendants, there was a young Uthley child shown on the 1860 census living in their home. This man was my gggUncle son of Conrad Barnhart, Sr. and wife Barbara Ge'feller Barnhart of Greene County TN
