| Comments: | Hello, I am trying to find additional info. regarding my Gx2 Uncle Daniel HAYNES b. c. 1834 IL and his family. He served in the Civil War Il 18th Inf., rose to rank of Captain and was awarded for his meritorious conduct on the battlefield. This info. was gleaned from "The History of Dunklin Co. MO." My question is this. Are there additional records available regarding his military service other than the National Archives. It seems his records have been "lost". I am also looking for possible additional sources of his family history. Thank you. E. Suhre |
