(Bettie/Betts) Smith and she returned to Humphreys Co., TN after his death. I need obit, cemetery, probate just any info during these dates, 1892-1899. Last records I find is 1891 Voters list in TN for Fred Batton and 1900 TN census record for M.E.(Smith) Batton listed as widow. Children of this couple, Elzie, Jim, Wm. Harvel, Andrew J., Anne, Molly Batton. Cemetery where he was buried is said to have been flooded according to family. Please help me. Thank you. T.G. |

My Great grandfather was George Runnels bd 1853, MO and Great grandmother was Mary MacNew bd 1857, Ill. Their children were Charles L. b.1882, Rufus W. b.1884, Ella M. b.1886, George A. b.1888, Gertie G. b.1890, Grover Albert b.1892, Beulah C. b.1895, Virgie b.1897. My grandfather sister Gertie was married to a Polsgrove, his sister Ella was married to a Lee, and his sister Virgie or Virginia was married to a Skidmore. My grandfather was Grover Albert Runnels and he was married to Tressie Mae Faughn, my grandmother. Tressie Mae Faughn's folks were George Faughn bd.1862 and Sarah Toler bd.1878. I was born on my grandmother and grandfathers farm in Campbell, MO in 1941 and lived in Campbell until my folks moved to California in 1947. My father was George Murrell Runnels and my mother is Vivian Olivia Teal. I would appreciate any information on my relatives. Thank you |
