Name: Theresa DeFeyter <defeytert@bresnan.net>

SURNAMES: YOUNGER
Comments:
John H. Younger b. approx 1850-52 Missouri. 1870 4-mile Dunklin Co., Missouri with wife Nancy. 1880 John H. Youngher with wife Frances, son Jacob. 1900 also in Union with family. Nancy died approx. 1897 John married Ida B. Prior to the 1870 census their seems to be no record of John & Nancy. No marriages or birth records. Unless he was an Outlaw in hiding. The info matches up with John Younger of the James/Younger gang but he supposedly died 1874 in a shoot out. Only problem is only his older brother seen the body and the detective that supposedly lived disapeered. The body is suppose to have been buried unmarked. Did John Younger die in that shoot out or did he fake his death and start a farm and a family in Dunklin Co., Missouri. Any info that can prove or disprove this theory is welcome.
