Campbell and Stella (Roberts) Campbell; and H. S. Medley and (Georgia) Roberts Medley. Myrtle, Stella and Georgia were sisters. Robert Jacob Roberts was a traveling optometrist and he and his wife Mary Ellen had a boarding house in Kennett. Would love to hear from anyone with info on any of these people. |

| Comments: | Stephen Wood(s)was born in Posey Co.,IN. During the Civil War he joined the 63rd Indiana Inf.,Co 'C'. He was injured during the war. He migrated to New Madrid Co.,MO. Not sure when,but he married and had the following children;(1)John L.Wood(s)b.1882,(2)William Wood(s)b.1884,(3)James Wood(s) b.1887,(4)Reece Wood(s)b.1890,(5)Press(ton)Wood(s)b.1893, (6)Mary Wood(s)b.1895. I have the file for Stephen Wood(s) as he applied for a pension for his injuried suffered in the Civil War. He listed his wives as; (1)Margaret Townson & they were married in New Madrid by Squire Denhart.After Margaret died he married (2)Annie Warren in 1890. She died in 1897. All three children were born in Malden. They were still there in 1918. |

My Grandfather was William Thomas Jordan and his wife was Pearl Ford/ I know they lived in Hayti around the 1930's. I believe they lived in Kennett also. for the past 50 years they lived and both died in Caruthersville Mo. They lived on Chaffee lane or road when they died. Austin, Millard,Walter, greats aunts, Minnie, My great grandfather came from Indiana, when ?, He had another son at that time named Berry who was born in Indiana, My grandfather was born in 1864 in campbell, my great grandfather was 66 when my grandfather was born, his mother was 39. She was born in Tn. where I can find no record of birth or marriage. I understand her name was Emma, or the writing on the record says Emna, Lindsey.
