Comments:
Does anyone know anything about a tornado that hit Malden in about 1950 or 1951? I was 5 or 6 and remember looking out the window of the house where we lived on the air base and watching the tar paper fly and the metal roof lift off a big building that may have been a cotton gin or something. My dad worked there at the time for my uncle J.E. "Buddy" Hunt.
Thanks for any information on the tornado or my surnames.
