I believe this Lemuel Burton to be my g-g-grandfather .L.J. Burton who gave consent for Julia A. Burton to marry C.G.Dodson in Nov 13 1890 in Dunklin Co . Is anyone search these names? | Comments: | I am looking for information on Samuel Marion JACKSON who married Rachel Elsebeth DIRICKSON. According to a newspaper article on Samuel he married Rachel on April 26, 1874 in Dunklin County, Missouri. I have not had any luck finding information on their marriage or his parents. His obit states that he was born to Cleaton and Louisa JACKSON. I found information in a online family sheet that suggest his mother died young and he was raised by a nearby family. I believe this family to be the James HEAD family. I have found Samuel living with this family in Dunklin co., MO in 1870. I am at a dead end with this Jackson line....any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tammy |

| Comments: | Rev. Archibald R. Taylor and wife Fanny (Chostner) Taylor moved to Hornesville to live with son Ross Taylor late 1890. Rev. Archibald Taylor was a methodist minister ordained 1879 in Grundy Co. MO. He past 1897. His wife Fanny Taylor continued to live with son Ross until 1910 when she passed. A news paper clipping gives dates and further information. Both are buried in Hornesville Cemetery. If you should have any information about the above or have questions please advise.
