| Comments: | Henry H. Noble was my great-grandmother's uncle. She was Mary Louisa Moore Parrott. Her parents (Catherine Noble and ? Moore) both died the year she was born - 1861. She was raised by her grandparents ? Noble(s) and Henry was just a few years older than she - 1857. The grandparents died in 1870's in New Madrid and she lived with her uncle Barry Noble, his daughter Ellen and son John who was deaf. Henry married Sarah Boyer in Stoddard Co and they had five children - Rebecca, Dora, Arthur, Maud, and ? She also had an Uncle James who had lost one leg in Civil War. I have been searching in Stoddard Co, New Madrid and Ripley Co and also Alexander Co, IL for these Nobles. Today I was able to look at the 1880 CD Census and found Henry and Sarah in Union Township, Dunklin Co. I am desperately seeking given names of Henry's parents. Thank you. Melody Aslin |
