Glen Leroy was known as Roy to his friends and neighbors. He worked on the Cotton Belt Railroad as a telegrapher. His wife, Adda, was active in the Garden Club and the Women's Club in Campbell up until her death. Glen Leroy and Adda RILEY are buried at McInturf Cemetery, east of Hagarstown, Fayette County, Illinois, next to his parents, James Walter and Mary Adelia RILEY. .............................................................. He remembered and talked about the fire drill they had in high school one time. He left his good ink pen on his desk that was a special gift to him. He wished he had picked it up, because the fire drill wasn't a drill and the school burned down, along with his pen. After his marriage, Kenneth Wayne RILEY, Sr. and his family lived in Malden, Dunklin County, Missouri where he was telegrapher and, before he died, agent on the Southern Pacific Railroad. His children attended and graduated from Malden Schools and both moved back to Malden, Dunklin County, Missouri with their spouses to make their homes. Kenneth married (living Helen E. RAMSEY) on June 12, 1939 in Jackson, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. She was born March 28, 1916 in Chaffee, Scott County, Missouri. They had two children, a boy and a girl. 1. Kenneth Wayne RILEY, Jr. was born April 29, 1940 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri and died February 20, 1997 in Malden, Dunklin County, Missouri. Kenneth, Jr. married Brenda Joyce ROBINSON, born February 15, 1943 in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri and died December 3, 2006 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee from cancer. Kenny and Brenda married on August 26, 1961 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Clarkton, Dunklin County, Missouri. They had one daughter and two sons. Their oldest son, Keith Allen RILEY was born September 11, 1964 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri and died October 3, 2002 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri. 2. (Living - Mary Jeanne RILEY) born June 26, 1949 in Malden, Dunklin County, Missouri married on June 3, 1972 in Dexter, Stoddard County, Missouri to (Living - Kenneth Wayne LENTZ) born July 6, 1952 in Cairo, Alexander County, Illinois. They have one son born March 16, 1983 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
