John A. Hogue.
- John A. Hogue: is my grandfather
He received is MD from Louisville, KY school of Medicine in 1908 and did graduate work at Loyola University in New Orleans. When he was a young child he contracted rheumatic fever. His grandmother took him to Hot Springs for the baths. His father, John A. Hogue, was a county judge in Dunklin county. My grandparents had only one child, my mother, Vivien Mattie Hogue. He died at age 42. Both my grandparents are buried at Stanfield Cemetery near Clarkton. I forgot to mention that my Dunscomb great grandfather and his wife are buried at Park Cemetery in Malden as are both my parents.
